It takes a lot of courage for someone to pick up their things and put their life on hold to go experience another country for a month. Although the goal of it is to improve personally and professionally, it can be challenging to fully immerse yourself in a culture that you are not used to. Especially, since Japanese and American culture are quite different.

Going global means different things to different people. Although Always Hired is currently not capable of supporting international students, we enjoy interacting with people from all over the world. Our own CEO, Gabriel Moncayo, is a first generation American as his parents migrated here from South America. So when we heard that there was an opportunity to have an intern from Japan join us for a month, we jumped all over it.

We would like to formally welcome our Japanese intern, Seiya Ito. Below is a quick Q&A to help you learn a little more about him!

Well, he definitely came to the right area of the country to watch good basketball and try new wine! We hope to help Seiya accomplish everything that he wants to in his limited time in America.

Stay tuned for a blog about his experience at the end of his internship!
