I'm very excited to say that I am currently the Chief Technical Officer at AlwaysHired. While pursuing my masters degree in linguistics, and while working in natural language processing at Optum, I was interested in spotting meaningful patterns in large data sets. At Optum I worked to teach computers how to read and understand medical documents for billing purposes. I learned quite a bit about how to find meaning in the numbers and data patterns. I also learned about automating processes which are usually done manually.
Those interests drove me to join the mission of AlwaysHired. We aren't working on medical documents here. Rather, we are streamlining every stage of the process of finding a job. From training, to searching, to placement... we're changing how people find their role in sales and kickoff their career.
In my time with AlwaysHired, it has become glaringly apparent that the skills gap is real. Right now more than ever, people need jobs and companies need people. We've identified patterns related to both training and placement which predict the quality of success between candidate and employer. By feeding this information through various processes, we've achieved placement rates unheard of in the industry. Our new platform will make use of these tools in a manner that is highly scalable.
I’m excited to announce that the beta version of the AlwaysHired Online Sales Training & Marketplace will launch soon. We’re accepting people on the waitlist, but sign up quickly before all the spots are gone - there’s 1,000 seats and they’ll go fast.
We have an exciting road ahead of us, and I look forward to sharing the journey with you.
